He acknowledges that in a lot of ways, it feels a little bit like fate is trying to make up for dealing him a bad hand in his young adulthood by throwing increasingly beautiful women at him, generally in compromising positions, often with their clothes strategically torn. It’s not that he’s ungrateful for whichever god is looking out for him. He does wish they’d started looking a touch earlier, perhaps, but he’s aware that he’s fortunate now.
